CACHUMA ANGLERS!

Here is some good news . . . Lake Cachuma has re-opened! Lake Cachuma is NOT following Lake Casitas. As everyone knows, the water board at Lake Casitas has decided that the way to manage the Quagga Mussel issue is to not manage at all. Their approach is to virtually close the lake along virtually closing the surrounding communities.


Lake Cachuma has implemented stregent quagga mussel inspection procedures.

NEW SCHEDULE!

Check out the schedule below. It is the NEW REVISED Central Coast 2008 schedule of tournaments. We only had 1 events so far this year which means that you can start at the next event and qualify for any one of the Team Classic's from this region! I am very excited about this schedule. All 5 of the tournaments will be at Lake Cachuma. The first event is on May 31st. The next 4 events are going to be Saturday & Sunday events. Each day will be a separate tournament. I want to encourage everyone to plan to camp at Cachuma on the Saturday night and I will serve up a BBQ compliments of ABA. This will work out great because the boat inspection on Saturday will carry you through on Sunday.

You must fish a minimum of 5 events to qualify for one of the Team Classic's. The Angler's of the Year will also be based on your best 5 events. If you have never fished one of the ABA Team Classic's, give me a call and I will tell you about these events. I fished the Lake Mead Team Classic . . . It was great!

Info On The "2008 American Bass/Ranger Boats Team Classics"

When you qualify for one American Bass/Ranger Boats Team Classic you can choose to fish any of the three Team Classics. Here is the information on the North Team Classic. Select a Northwest or South Division region for information on those Team Classics.
